A new look, and a list of recommended evolution YouTube channels and blogs.

Earlier this month, the TalkOrigins archive was down for close to two days. For those heavily involved in the evolution-creation debate back in the early days of the internet when command lines were king, late 90s Geocities-themed websites were standard rather than retro-kitsch, and social media non-existent, the TalkOrigins Usenet group was close to the centre of the universe. Many of these posts have been reworked and posted at the archive which has been a go-to resource for those wanting to debunk the usual creationist lies. However, the site has not been updated for several years, and while the site has returned, it served as a reminder that as discussion of evolution has moved elsewhere, listing some of the better sites would be a good idea.

Gutsick Gibbon - maintained by a PhD student in biological anthropology who unsurporising maintains a focus on biological anthropology but covers all areas related to evolution. Her videos can sometimes stretch for at least three hours, but are definitely worth the time.

Creation Myths - maintained by Daniel Stern Cardinale, an academic evolutionary biologist who as the channel title suggest demolishes common creationist lies. His posts hew close to his area of expertise in evolutionary biology, including subjects such as junk DNA and population genetics.

Zach B. Hancock - is an evolutionary biologist specialising in population genetics. His videos do not shy away from the technical details so if you are interested in seeing how mathematically rigorous theoretical biology can get, this is the channel for you. His production values are excellent, with some of his presentations of documentary quality.

Dr Joel Duff -  is an academic biologist and Christian who examines the science-faith interface from the perspective of a professional biologist who is also a devout Christian. Unsurprisingly, many of his posts tackle creationist mendacity.

Refreshingly, these scientists cite the references used allowing you to follow them up at your leisure. For those who are dismayed by the utter nonsense on many Christadelphian YouTube channels, these channels will be of use.
